This website is operated by Down South, a band based in Eindhoven, Netherlands. For questions about your data, contact us at info@downsouth.band .

Analytics cookies

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how visitors use the site (page views, performance metrics). These are only loaded after you accept cookies via the banner at the bottom of the page. No personal data is sold or shared with third parties.

If you decline, no analytics scripts are loaded and no tracking occurs. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your cookies.

Consent cookie

When you make a choice in the cookie banner, we store a single cookie called ds-consent (value: accepted or rejected). This cookie lasts one year and is used solely to remember your preference — it contains no personal data.

YouTube embeds

Some pages embed YouTube videos. We use the youtube-nocookie.com domain, which means YouTube does not set cookies until you choose to play a video. Once you interact with a video, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.

Spotify embeds

The Music page embeds Spotify players. Spotify may set cookies when the player loads. See Spotify's privacy policy for details.

Local storage

The homepage video player saves your playback position in your browser's local storage (keys: yt-hero-time, yt-hero-last-visit). This data never leaves your device and is only used to resume the video where you left off.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since this site does not collect personal data beyond aggregated analytics (and only with your consent), there is little to act on — but if you have questions, email us at info@downsouth.band .
